Jane Costello-Ebbitt

Business manager

Jane first joined the industry as a chef back in 1982 in Mallorca. After completing a 4 year B.Ed degree qualifying as a physical education teacher, she chose to go globetrotting by sea.  In her on-board career as a yacht chef she made five transatlantic crossings on increasingly larger yachts starting on a 40ft wooden ketch and ending on a 55 metre Feadship.  Those experiences led her to consider that the design of galleys and hospitality areas on yachts had room for improvement.

Many senior yachting professionals will remember Jane as the founder- managing director of NautiChef International based in Antibes (1988- 2008). The company were leaders in the design of Superyacht galleys and hospitality areas as well as supplying catering equipment through the NautiChef Cookware Boutique in Antibes.

In 2008 she sold NautiChef and relocated to the Caribbean island of Nevis with Patrick and their 3 rescue dogs where for 10 years she founded and ran the animal rescue charity CARE Nevis Animal Society.

Jane recently returned to the world of Superyachts in her new role with Seafarers.Q Ltd. as director of business development and marketing. She will manage Seafarers.Q  administration, ensuring smooth running of all operations.
